Welcome to Ganeinu Long day care preschool and early learning centre
Ganeinu is the only Jewish centre on the north shore that offers longer hours, (8am-5.30pm) and provides care for children from 12 months.
In addition, Ganeinu offers fresh, wholesome fully kosher cooked food every day.
Chabad house of the north shore sponsors this centre as a non profit, Jewish community service.
We believe that every Jewish child should have the privilege of being cared for and educated within in a warm, Jewish environment that exposes them to the values and traditions of Yiddishkeit.
Ganeinu’s hebrew name reflects the nature of our centre.
“Ganeinu” is loosely translated as “our childcare centre” The origin “gan” literally means “garden” , hence the plural form of this word could also translate as “our garden”
At Ganeinu, each child makes up part of a beautiful and colourful garden where every child is individually and lovingly nurtured and given the opportunity to blossom with his/her unique qualities and gifts.
Our Philosophy is founded on the principle that a child’s learning process begins from the moment they are born, and we are honored to share this role with you.

At Ganeinu, your child will be treated as an individual and given attention by our highly experienced and qualified staff as if he/she were their own child.
Your child will flourish within the love, warmth and security of a homely Jewish environment, filled with fun, and educational stimulation. Our fully accredited centre offers the highest quality of care and education in all developmental areas, both Jewish and secular. In early childhood, the seeds of learning, curiosity and caring are planted. Our programme caters to thegrowing personal, social and academic needs of separate age groups.
All of our children gain skills,knowledge, self confidence and school readiness in all developmental areas.
Independent programmes are formulated for ages 12 months-2 years and then from 2-3 years, and also from 3-4 years
Every day is filled with art, music, stories, language and hands on exploration.We have a wide range of toddler and preschool equipment and a huge playground with out door equipment that encourages both fine and gross motor skills.

When joining Ganeinu, you become part of a wonderful network of people, and are automatically a part of the Ganeinu community.
At chabad, every Jew is family, regardless of prior religious observance or affiliation. All are welcome and are comfortable, and our teachers are sensitive to the varied levels of observance when discussing the various chagim and other aspects of Jewish culture.
The children have a shabbat party every week, the highlight being making their own individual challot.
In addition, being on a shul premisis, our children grow to feel at home in a wholesome Jewish environment.
Our centre philosophy encourages open communication.
